Regular QR generator and scanner

Regular QR values, uploaded logos, uploaded QR images and camera frames are processed in your browser. QRStable does not intentionally send that content to its application server. Opening a decoded destination is an explicit action that contacts the destination directly.

Accounts

When you create an account, QRStable stores the email address, a password hash, account plan and operational timestamps. Authentication uses session data and cookies needed to keep you signed in. Do not reuse a password from another service.

Hosted File QR codes

Files selected for File QR are deliberately uploaded to QRStable. The private object store holds the file; the database stores its owner, filename, type, size, title, description, status and storage identifier. Public Share Links use short-lived signed storage URLs. Anyone with an active Share Link can access its file.

Optional scan counting

File owners can enable an approximate page-view counter. When enabled, QRStable increments a total and records the latest view time. It does not store IP addresses, device fingerprints, referrers, locations or individual scan-event records. Automated traffic and repeat visits may affect the total.

Deletion and retention

Deleting a hosted file disables its public record and triggers removal of the stored object. Limited metadata and operational logs may remain where necessary for security, abuse handling, reliability and legal obligations. Backups and provider systems may take additional time to expire.

Hosting information

Normal hosting and security systems may process IP address, browser details, requested URL, timestamps and diagnostic information. QRStable does not claim that loading the website is anonymous.

Your choices

Use the regular generator when you do not need QRStable to store content. Keep scan counting disabled if you do not need an approximate total. Delete hosted files from the dashboard when they are no longer needed. For privacy questions or requests, use the contact page.
